A man who went missing last week Thursday after allegedly killing his 65-year-old father at Mukangu village in Ndia, Kirinyaga County, has been arrested.
George Muriithi Mutero, 35, was arrested on yesterday in Ol Kalou, Nyandarua County according to Kirinyaga West Sub-county police commander.
George is expected to be arraigned at Baricho police station today.
According to family members, the suspect stabbed his father with a kitchen knife over 10 times before he went missing.
Residents have pointed fingers at drug and substance abuse and they added that Muriithi had been using bhang and other hard drugs he cannot look at you for fear of overuse of bhang.
The deceased is to be buried on Saturday.
