The Kenya Meteorological Department has said continued moderate to heavy rainfall will be experienced in several parts of the country till Wednesday.
The Met Department on Sunday said rainfall is expected over the Highlands West of the Rift Valley, the Lake Victoria Basin, the Rift Valley and North-western Kenya.
According to the department, counties to be affected include Siaya, Kisumu, Homabay, Migori, Kisii, Nyamira, Trans Nzoia, Baringo, Uasin Gishu and Elgeyo-Marakwet.
Others include Nandi, Nakuru, Narok, Kericho,Bomet, Kakamega, Vihiga,Bungoma, Busia and West Pokot Counties.
These regions are likely to experience rain showers and thunderstorms over a few places till July 10, on Wednesday.
In North-western Kenya, the Met department said the residents are likely to experience rain over a few places till Wednesday.
Additionally, intermittent cool and cloudy conditions are expected over some parts of the Highlands East and West of the Rift Valley, the South-eastern lowlands and the Rift Valley.
For the Highlands East of the Rift Valley, they are to expect cloudy breaking into sunny intervals mornings till Wednesday.
The regions also expect showers over a few places in the night.
The counties affected include Nairobi, Nyandarua, Laikipia, Nyeri, Kirinyaga, Murang’a, Kiambu, Meru, Embu and Tharaka.
