Tanzanian MP Zahor Mohamed has accepted President William Ruto’s apology on behalf of Parliament, citing that both countries must resolve their issues to further solidify the shared bilateral ties.
While addressing his colleagues in the Tanzanian Parliament, the lawmaker pointed out the importance of the mutual relations shared between the nations and called for the mending of relationships.
He added that it’s common for countries that work together to disagree on certain issues, but such differences shouldn’t undermine a relationship that has been built over many years.
“Naomba nichukue nafasi hii kupongeza kwa haraka. Nimesoma ya kwamba rafiki yetu, kaka yetu Rais Ruto akituomba radhi sisi nasi tunapokea. Hii ni kwa sababu hakuna binadamu kamilifu. Inawezekana sisi tunalo tatizo na inabidi tusameheane ili maisha isonge kwa sababu binadamu lazima tukoseane,” Zahor said.
