Angry residents in Mborogo Village, Timi Sub-Location in Nyamira County, have lynched a 50- year-old man suspected to have been engaging in several theft cases in the area.
The residents also burnt down five houses belonging to the family members of the suspect.
Meanwhile, police officers from Nyamira managed to rescue a 30- year-old man found in the house of the main suspect.
The man identified as Jeremiah Mong’are was taken to the Nyamira County Referral Hospital.
