The body of a middle-aged woman who disappeared September 2022 has been found buried in a neighboring home in Kakamega.
Rose Kamoya’s body was discovered when the owner of the home who lives in Nairobi and had travelled to the village began digging for sand to repair his mud house.
According to the sisters of the late, they said they have traveled to the neighboring village while with her sister when she mysteriously went missing.
The search for their kin didn’t bear fruits when amid the search five suspects were arrested and thereafter released due to lack of evidence.
The family now want the police to speed up investigations and unravel the mystery of her death as the very suspects who were suspected before are on the loose as the body of Rose was found buried in a shallow grave in the same village of the suspects.
The body was exhumed by police and her remains moved to Kakamega Funeral Home awaiting autopsy reports.
