Tony Marubu a bodaboda rider at Mugoiri junction in Kiharu constituency, has been nominated to the Murang’a County Assembly.
Marubu whose nomination was reported by Kiharu Member of Parliament Ndindi Nyoro was said to be articulate and sharp during his encounter with Nyoro two years ago.
Mr Nyoro said that he had called him to his office after their encounter and enquired about him.
Mr Marubu told him that he had scored C+ but was unable to proceed to College. Initially they were willing to sponsor him for a Teaching Course but in the course of making it happen, they decided to make him an MCA.
