Police in Nyali have begun the search of a man who allegedly threw his half-naked lover off the balcony of their bedroom at Sunny Side apartments.
According to DCI boss George Kinoti, the man, Muyanga Suleiman, threw the woman from the balcony at 3 am today.
“The suspect believed to be a foreign national immediately fled the scene after committing the crime,” Kinoti said.
A guard on patrol, Parsaoti Morinket, heard the screams of a woman then a loud bang.
“The guard cautiously approached what seemed to be an object only to discover that it was a half-dressed woman, who lay dead in a pool of blood,” he said.
The guard ran towards the janitor’s room and told him of the occurrence.
“They visited the scene and established that the lifeless body belonged to a 25-year-old woman who had earlier in the night been invited to room A10,” he said.
They rushed to the room only to find its door wide open and the man missing.
Efforts by Nyali detectives to find the suspect bore no fruits.
“Crime scene detectives processed the scene and gathered as much information regarding the incident, before finally transferring the body of the deceased to a morgue in the Coastal city,” Kinoti said.
