Eleven people, including children, have been killed in a fire outbreak at a school in the central Ugandan district of Mukono.
The fire which broke out at Salama School for the blind left six others in critical conditions.
The fire broke out around 1 a.m. at the school which offers education to both adults and children with visual impairments.
Kampala Metropolitan Police spokesman Luke Oyoweigire said that the cause of the fire has still not been identified.
Fire incidents at schools have been a cause of concern for education officials in the East African country.
