AIRTEL Kenya has today launched a new brand campaign focused on building a deeper emotional connection with Kenya’s youthful population.
The newly launched brand campaign based on a new strapline for Airtel Kenya ‘A Reason to Imagine’, replaces the ‘Smartphone Network’ strapline.
Speaking at the launch today, Airtel Kenya Managing Director Ashish Malhotra says the new strapline aims to showcase Airtel’s focus on providing its Kenyan consumers, especially the youth, with relevant digital and financial solutions to aid them in achieving their potential in personal and business undertakings.
He further says the campaign shows Airtel’s position as an enabler of the dreams and aspirations of young people as it seeks to celebrate the energy, creativity and innovation of young people in Kenya.
On his part, Airtel Africa’s Group Chief Commercial Officer Anthony Shiner said it was a well-known fact that the youth are central to achieving Africa’s potential with more than 60% of Africa’s population being under the age of 25, and empowering this new generation could be transformative for the future of the continent.
