Dr Gesami’s name resubmitted back to the Assembly

In the second time, governor  Amos Nyaribo has nominated Dr Gesami’s name back to the assembly for consideration as the deputy governor In an official letter addressed to speaker, Hon Moffat Teya, Governor Nyaribo expressed his confidence in the nominee, saying that he is fit for the job.

Dr James Gesami is a two-time member of parliament for West Mugirango between 2007- 2017, and his development record in the health sector has all along been impressive. Speaker Moffat Teya sits in the committee on appointment as the chair, and going forward he is expected through his leadership to plan effectively on the schedule for Dr Gesami’s vetting. The former member of parliament was first nominated in January, whereby the committee on appointments rejected his approval upon citing missing crucial documents. In his letter, H.E Amos Nyaribo pointed out that the said documents are now in place, and this prompted a decision to nominate him again.
