In an effort to nurture talent and revive sports activities in Nyamira County, governor Amos Nyaribo presided over the launch of a sporting activity dubbed ” Nyamira Great Run.”
Speaking during the event, the governor assured the sporting fraternity that the county has laid down plans to conduct such activities annually.
Nyaribo said that the county will fast track completion of the ongoing sports stadia, pledging to increase the budgetary allocation to support sporting events.
