The Independent and Electoral Boundaries Commission (IEBC) is clearing various aspirants for the May 18 by-election in Bonchari Kisii.
The aspirants are expected to present their nominations certificates to IEBC today and tomorrow.
ODM candidate Pavel Oimeke, PPK’s Charles Mogaka, Jonah Ondieki (TND) and Ogano party’s Jeremiah Otacha have already presented their papers to IEBC at Suneka CDF hall.
Other candidates expected to present their papers include; Mary Otara (UGM), Teresa Bitutu (UDA), Eric Oigo (NRP), Victor Omanwa (PED), David Ogega (Kenya Social Congres) and Kevin Mosima (PDU).
The by-election was occasioned by the death of John Oroo who was elected on the PDP party in the 2017 general elections.
