Supermodel Naomi Campbell has welcomed her first child at the age of 50.
She made the unexpected birth of her baby girl public yesterday via social media.
Campbell shared a photograph of herself holding the newborn’s feet in her hands on Instagram.
The photo was accompanied by a caption that read: “A beautiful little blessing has chosen me to be her mother. So honoured to have this gentle soul in my life there are no words to describe the lifelong bond that I now share with you, my angel. There is no greater love.”
However, Campbell who will celebrate her 51st birthday on 22 May did not reveal details regarding her baby’s name or when she was born.

Her mother, Valerie Morris Campbell, passed on her good wishes in a post on Instagram.
“Congratulations to my daughter Naomi on the birth of her daughter, I’m beyond thrilled as I’ve waited for a long time to be a grandmother.”
