ODM party leader Raila Odinga has been discharged from the Nairobi Hospital, days after he tested positive for COVID-19.
In a short video that was shared today morning on his social media account, he appeared to be in a jovial mood.
The ODM party leader released the video which was titled “I’m glad to be back home.”
The former Prime Minister was admitted to a Nairobi hospital after undergoing a series of tests by his doctor.
“While the tests were several, one important result, which I have authorised the doctors to make public is that I have been found to have been exposed to Covid-19,” said Raila.
Kenya is now in the third wave of COVID-19 and President Uhuru Kenyatta extended the curfew for a further 60 days.
