A Ugandan suspect has been arrested following the murder of a woman on Monday morning.
Suleiman Mayanja was apprehended while trying to access his belongings from the crime scene at Sunny Side apartments, Nyali.
According to the police, Manyaja had sent a runner to pick his stuff.
However, undercover cops laid an ambush in the apartment, arrested him, leading them to the suspect’s hideout.
Meanwhile, the authorities have established that the suspect entered the country early last month through the Busia border point.
The suspect and the deceased met for the first time on Saturday at a joint.
They met again on Sunday when the lady met her untimely death.
DCI boss George Kinoti yesterday confirmed that Manyanja threw the deceased from a balcony at 3 am.
He afterwards fled the scene.
