President William Ruto today chaired the Kenya Kwanza Parliamentary Group (PG) meeting at State House, Nairobi. The meeting kicked off at half past eight am.
One of the key agendas of Tuesday’s meeting was the upcoming budget legislation debates in Parliament.
Nominated MP Sabina Chege was among those in attendance, just a day after the Jubilee party dismissed her among other leaders including East Africa Legislative Assembly (EALA) MP Kanini Kega and Nelson Dzuya in a bid to strengthen the outfit led by former President Uhuru Kenyatta.
This is the sixth PG Mr Ruto was chairing since he assumed office.
The last one was held at State House on April 11, 2023, when he urged the MPs to prioritize the delivery of services to the people and fully support Kenya Kwanza’s agenda.
