Robert Lewandowski to leave Bayern Munich

Bayern Munich striker Robert Lewandowski wants a new challenge away, to secure a move to another top European club before the age of 35.

Lewandowski has been with Bayern since 2014 and has developed into one of the best strikers in the world, having scored 56 goals for his club and country last season.

The player turns 33 on Saturday and has two years left on his current deal.

Bayern Munich has valued him at more than £100m which may price him out of the move.

Lewandowski is understood to be frustrated by their reluctance to sell but is unlikely to do anything that will harm his good relationship with the club.
