UDA presidential candidate Dr. William Ruto has secured a temporary court order to hold his final political rally at the Nyayo stadium.
Earlier on, Sports Kenya, the body mandated to manage stadia in Kenya, had barred the DP from holding his final rally at the venue saying it had been booked for a peace rally on the same day.
However, Justice Joseph Sergon, after hearing an application filed by the party, issued an interim order suspending implementation of the decision.
UDA had hired the stadium at 1.5 million an amount which they had partly cleared by July 12.
However eight days later, Sports Kenya withdrew availability of the premises.
Both Kenya Kwanza Alliance and Azimio Party were laying claim to the right to hold their final rally at the venue.
