Police Rescue Girl from FGM in Narok

The DCI has rescued an underage girl who was about to undergo FGM in Narok.

The girl who is a form two student learnt of her parents’ plans of subjecting her to the illegal act. She proceeded to call her school head girl who is in Kiambu and inform he.

According to DCI, the head girl called detectives through an anonymous hotline and a team was dispatched to Narok, for the minor’s rescue.

Police arrested the parents and took the girl to a safe house. Kinoti thanked the head girl for rescuing her mate from the atrocious act.
