The US inflicts constraints on Ethiopia following the Tigray conflict

The US has inflicted constraints on monetary and safekeeping assistance to Ethiopia due to the conflict in the region.

The US Secretary of State, Antony Blinken, also publicized visa restraints on Ethiopian and Eritrean executives who are accused of violence.

Blinken added that the act was required to aid solve the calamity.

Since the conflict began six months ago, several people have lost their lives and others left displaced.

Both sides have allegations of abuse of human rights.

On Sunday, the Ethiopian government laid off allegations that neutrals in the war-hit Tigray region were under attack with chemical weapons by the Ethiopian or Eritrean armies.

According to Britain’s Telegraph newspaper, numerous people including a 13-year-old girl had agonized burns to the use of white phosphorous.

The chemical use against neutrals is reflected as a war crime. However, it can be used lawfully on battlegrounds.
