A family in Malimali village, Kakamega County is in shock over the death of their son, timothy Indumuli, 19 years after he committed suicide over his state of joblessness.
The body was found yesterday hanging with a rope tied on his neck inside his bedroom
The mother said that they had not seen the boy during morning hours as usual which prompted her to start looking for him from his immediate family members and friends only to find his lifeless body in his room.
According to his mother, the deceased was struggling with stress after failing to find a sustainable job which she says this pushed him to take his own life.
Following the incident, Hamrere Assistant Chief Violet Barasa urged the youths to seek advice from elders when faced with similar issues rather than committing suicide
The body was taken to Kakamega County Teaching and referral Hospital morgue for autopsy as police continue to investigate.
