Chelsea fined £25,000 by FA

Thomas Tuchel’s side has been charged after violating two of the FA rules at Anfield last month.

Referee Anthony Taylor awarded Liverpool a penalty, Reece James was sent off after VAR judged the defender to have handled the ball that was already getting in the net.

Chelsea players got angered by Taylor’s decision, with the Blues feeling the ball had deflected off the player’s thigh onto his arm.

Chelsea has now been fined £25,000 for two violating FA rules.

The club admitted failing to ensure that its players conducted themselves in an orderly manner during both the 48th minute of the first half and following the half-time whistle.
