Nandi Senator Samson Cherargei has called out South Mugirango MP Hon. Silvanus Osoro for representing Kisii County Deputy Governor Dr. Robert Onsare Monda in the senate saying the MP is misusing his power as the chief whip and as a member of the National Assembly.
Senator Cherargei said this today in parliament during the hearing of DG Monda’s impeachment motion by the senate.
He added that the senate is not meant to hear charges based on local politics, he even reminded the MP that in the past days, he has had public altercations with Kisii Governor, Simba Arati.
The senator urged Hon. Osoro to go and serve the people of South Mugirango and members of the National Assembly as the chief whip.
Charargei said that the MP should be busy enabling important bills in parliament rather than engaging in political activities meant to serve his personal interests.
