The Kenya Medical Practitioners and Dentists Union (KMPDU) on Monday staged a peaceful demonstration in Nairobi and in other counties like Kisii, protesting the shooting of their Secretary General Davji Atellah by police during a similar demonstration in Nairobi last week.
From Kisii county, the medics protested over what they termed as delayed promotions and payment of wages from the county government.
The doctors said they will calm down when their grievances will be met.
