DP Gachagua Condoles With Kapsabet Boys Highschool After The Saturday Fatal Accident

Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua has condoled with the Kapsabet Boys High School fraternity after a tragic accident on Saturday that killed a student, teacher and left scores injured.

The bus that had 61 students, one teacher, and a driver on board rolled at Patkawanin area on the Kabarnet-Marigat highway in Baringo County.

DP Gachagua paid a visit to the school on Sunday morning to mourn the unfortunate demise of the two, expressing confidence that those nursing injuries will soon be in good shape.

To replace the written-off bus, Gachagua said he will talk to his boss President William Ruto, an alumni of the institution, to gift the school another one.

“I will talk to him later in the day and I am sure that the President will give you another bus to replace that one so that you are able to continue with your tours,” he said.

He encouraged the boys to stay focused and work hard reminding them that they are in one of the best performing schools in the country.

He has urged all motorists/drivers, particularly those ferrying school children to be careful on roads to curb the menace of losing lives through road carnage.
