Family wants police to investigate murder of their sons

A family in Ndeiya village, Limuru constituency in Kiambu County is appealing to the government to help after their missing two sons were found dead in Nairobi.

The brothers, Johnson Karuga, 26 years and Kevin Kimani, 24, went missing on Monday, September 5.The two, who were staying in Kamulu, had gone to watch a football match at a club in Joska on Sunday, September 4 but did not return home.

Their family attempted to contact the deceased but their phones were switched off, forcing them to report the matter to the police.

Uncofirmed claims  indicate that Karuga and Kimani were involved in an altercation in the entertainment joint, where they were following a football match. Security guards at the club then contacted boda boda riders who trailed the duo before beating them senseless.

Their bodies were found near a bridge at Joska, a week after they went missing.

The family are asking the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) to speed up the investigations and arrest persons behind the murders.
