Girl Recued from Saudi Arabia Re-enrolled in Meru University

Diana Chepkemoi, who was early this month rescued from Saudi Arabia after a video of her looking malnourished went viral online is back to school.

Chepkemoi was re-enrolled at Meru University of Science and Technology (MUST) earlier  on Wednesday.

Diana who dropped out four years ago due to financial constraints was welcomed back by the university management and excited students.

Prof. Romanus Odhiambo who is the university’s Vice-chancellor offered to reinstate Chepkemoi and promised to offer her a job and accomodations to facilitate her learning.
