I have a clean track record, Ruto says

Deputy President William Ruto says his track in the country is clean and dependable.

He says his competitors have all been in government for over  30 years but they lacked what to present before the electorates.

Speaking in South Mugirango after a three-day tour of Kisii County, Ruto said he is ready to face all his opponents.

“I can defend my record as MP, Minister and as Deputy President.

My contribution in this administration on matters to do with TVET, Roads, Health is clear. My signature is in bold. Let them also come with their track record.”

He said some of those yearning for the presidency have been in government for years and they have nothing to show.

“We must begin to have a conversation that is people-centred and not on how to share positions. Our people want better roads, improved infrastructure and policies that can transform the country.”

Ruto said his resolve to the country cannot be stopped by mere rhetoric.
