Kisii Deputy Governor Joash Maangi has been arrested.
His lawyer Gideon Nyambati says he has reported to Kisii Central Station of a missing person.
Nyambati, through OB number 34/15/02/21 says police at the station are adamant to reveal where they have detained the Deputy Governor.
Maangi was arrested a few minutes ago at Kisii High School as Deputy President William Ruto landed.
He was briefly questioned by DCI officers at Kisii Central Police station. Nyambati says the Deputy Governor might have secretly been driven to an unknown place.
