Janganya was arrested on Wednesday afternoon, where he was addressing the media over Tuesday evening chaos at the Kisii County headquarters.
The MCA was charged with malicious damage of property valued at Sh 5 million of which it belongs to the Kisii County government. He is accused alongside others yet to be arrested.
Chief Magistrate Stephen Onjoro released the accused on a Sh 50,000 cash bail or an alternative of Sh 100,000 bond.
