Leaders from Nyamira County have urged Interior Cabinet Secretary Dr Fred Matiang’i to intervene and calm the wrangles that have been witnessed in the County Assembly of Nyamira.
The Chairman of the political parties liaison committee, who is also the chairman of The Progressive Party of Kenya (PPK) Evans Misati said that it was a deadly affair for the MCAs and the Governor to continue fighting as it has delayed development in the county.
Addressing journalist in Nyamira, Misati who unsuccessfully contested for the gubernatorial seat in 2013, said that he will lead Nyamira residents in a demonstration if the wrangles are not resolved in a week.
