A man who defiled his six-year-old stepdaughter in Kisii a week ago is likely to appear in Court on Tuesday.
The suspect was arrested Sunday evening by detectives from the Crime Research and Intelligence Bureau and their Kisii counterparts.
He was whisked out from his hideout in Kongasis, Kiambogo in Nakuru County.
The suspect is alleged to have lured her daughter into a thicket where he committed the act.
He went ahead to threaten his wife with dire consequences if she dared report the matter to Police.
Police say the suspect is to be driven to Kisii later in the day.
On Friday Kisii County Woman Representative Ms Janet Ongera called on police to arrest several other perpetrators who are still at large.
