East African Court of Justice judge Charles Nyachae says he will not run for any political seat in
2022.
Nyachae says he will instead support Deputy President William Ruto's presidential bid.
The former CIC chair says he will be comfortable to serve the country on a different level.
Speaking in Kisii yesterday, Nyachae says he successfully campaigned for President Uhuru
Kenyatta's election and will gladly do so for Ruto.
"It is not a must for me to run for a political seat. I will support those in our team. We need to
remain united," said Nyachae.
Nyachae who ran for the Kisii Senatorial seat in 2017 and lost to Prof Sam Ongeri says the
process undertaken in establishing the Building Bridges Initiative (BBI) Bill has been wrong.
He says the document has not been subjected to Public Participation as required in Law.
