A parent yesterday collapsed and died in the compound of Pala Kobong’ Primary School in Rarieda Sub-County.
The deceased, Peter Mito Owino, is believed to have stopped by the institution to check on his child’s performance.
According to Rarieda Sub-County Director of Education Elija Adie, Owino was headed to the staffroom when he fell.
Students who were out for break witnessed the strange incident and notified their teachers.
The teachers rushed to check on him only to discover he had already passed away.
Mr Adie confirmed the incident, adding that the school deputy headteacher raised an alarm, drawing the attention of several people.
The institution also called police from the Aram Police Station to the scene.
The body was later taken to the Madiany Hospital Morgue.
