Security agencies are looking for terror suspects who are believed to be planning terror attacks in the country.
The agencies have requested members of the public to be alert and inform them of any suspicious activity.
Some of the wanted suspects include; Kasimu Musa aka Abu Miki, Mohamud Abdi Aden aka Mohamed Yare, Peter Gichungu Njoroge aka Mustafa and Abdikadir Mohamed Abdikadir aka Ikrima.
Following the security report, the suspects are on the run and have been involved in the recent attacks in parts of Lamu and its surrounding.
The suspects have been in custody for robberies with violence, drugs and other criminal activities. Thus; Njoroge aka Mohamed escaped to Somalia to join Al-Shabab following the reports of robbery with violence in parts of Mukurweini and Karatina sub-counties.
In Nyeri County, Hija aka Mnubi escaped to Somalia also to join Al-Shabab following his arrest warrant for his involvement with criminal gangs.
The country observes the third anniversary of the Dusit D2 complex attack on 15th Jan 2019.
The government has put in place various measures to deal with insecurity following the recent attacks which led to injuries and loss of properties in the country.
