Sharon Obara wins Miss World Kenya beauty pageant

Sharon Obara was crowned as Miss World Kenya 2021 over the weekend.

Sharon acknowledged winning the pageant as a dream come true.

“I am humbled to have been the one bestowed with the honour to represent Kenya,” she said.

Leopard Point Luxury Beach Resort and Spa Malindi chairman Antonio Colleluori conveyed his congratulatory message, noting that beauty connects people and union creates strength and wealth.

“It was truly an exclusive luxury experience to participate and witness this amazing event that pays homage to the value of the beauty of this great country and its people,” he said.

Chantou Kwamboka was crowned as second runners up while Mwihaki Njogu took the third position.

ICT Cabinet Secretary Joe Mucheru and Nairobi Woman Representative Esther Passaris attended the event.

Joe Mucheru promised that his ministry would continue supporting the youth in different fields.

“As a ministry, we will step up and support this pageant. The kind of beauty and talent witnessed here today is one that cannot be undermined. Kenya has a lot of beauty.”
