The Ministry of Health direction to review curfew hours in the fourteen lake region counties that have in the recent past had a high number of COVID-19 positive cases have started taking cause as enforcement officers implement the strict rules.
Businesses and the public in Nyamira County adhered to the direction of closing their premises before 7 pm.
However, residents have cried foul for the direction to adjust the curfew hours saying they have been struggling to raise their daily income thus the adjusted hours will affect them.
Police in several parts of the county mounted roadblocks within the county and arrested several motorists for breaking the curfew hours against the Ministry of Health direction.
