A form two student from Mokwerero secondary school has been arrested for threatening a
Deputy Principal Jared Morara while armed with a panga and a sharpening file.
Moffat Masese Ngare 18 had threatened to slash the deputy Principal with a machete, which
according to the county commissioner has not been since established on how the boy made it to
school with.
The principal Kennedy Ogecha called the assistant chief immediately and they rescued the
deputy Principal from the boy who had vowed to eliminate him.
Nyamira County Commissioner Amos Mariba has urged the school heads to ensure students go
thorough frisking when they report back to school to curb such acts.
"We have not known the motive of the incident but we are investigating the matter,” said
Mariba.
Investigations are ongoing as authorities are currently carrying out investigations.
