The de-gazettement of Chetambe Hills as a national forest reserve was highly appreciated by the leaders and for the president’s intervention

These gazettement of 406 acres of the Chetambe on July 2021 would have led to displacement of over 10000 residents of Maraka and Mihuu wards in Webuye East Constituency in Bungoma county.
