President Uhuru today held a meeting with the western Kenya leaders at state house, Nairobi
The courtesy visit leaders were CS Eugene Wamalwa, governor, Wycliffe Oparanya, Wycliffe Wangamati, Wilbur Ottichillo and Sospeter Ojaamong.
The president assured the said leaders about the governments commitment to ensure the ongoing development projects will be completed as scheduled
The de-gazettement of Chetambe Hills as a national forest reserve was highly appreciated by the leaders and for the president’s intervention
These gazettement of 406 acres of the Chetambe on July 2021 would have led to displacement of over 10000 residents of Maraka and Mihuu wards in Webuye East Constituency in Bungoma county.
