A man is his forties has been found guilty by the Embu law courts for sodomizing his 57-year-old elder brother and will serve a 20-year jail term at the Embu GK Prisons.
The accused had committed the crime on April 3rd, 2020 at Njoguini Village in Embu North Sub- County.
The court found him guilty for sexually assaulting his mentally ill brother and also for threatening to kill another despite him pleading innocent.
Both sentences will run co-currently and will serve the 20-year jail term.
Embu Senior Resident Magistrate Tony Kwambai confirmed a report submitted by the prosecution stated that the victim was living with mental illness the accused took advantage of his state and sexually assaulted him.
