323 people arrested in Nairobi for violating COVID-19 regulations

323 people were arrested over the weekend in Nairobi for violating the COVID-19 guidelines.

According to Nairobi County Commander Augustine Nthumbi, some of the offenders were arrested in joints such as bars past curfew hours.

The others were congregating in large numbers contrary to the present COVID-19 protocols.

Nthumbi remarked that the majority are those who were found walking around without masks within the estates.

He added that the defendants are to be arraigned and charged in court today.
