The United States Congress has affirmed the Electoral College victory President-elect Joe Biden
over President Donald Trump.
The counting of Vermont’s three electoral votes put Biden and Vice President-elect Kamala
Harris over the 270-threshold needed to win the presidency of the United States of America.
Congress rejected doubts to throw out Georgia and Pennsylvania’s electoral votes for President-
elect Joe Biden. The other States that were rejected include Arizona, Nevada and Michigan’s.
Yesterday the proceedings were put on hold when Trump supporters stormed Capitol Hill.
The Rioters were seen marching through the building chanting "We want Trump".
