A two-storey building undergoing construction in Mamboleo Estate, Kisumu County has collapsed today.
It is yet to be determined the number of workers who were at the site during the occurrence.
However, three women selling food to workers at the place, are believed to have been trapped in the debris.
Six other victims were taken to Jaramogi Oginga Odinga Teaching and Referral Hospital after sustaining injuries.
According to Kisumu East Sub-County Police Commander James Musyimi, the incident occurred at 1.30 pm.
Investigations have been launched as evacuation continues.
