Lionel Messi came on as a substitute to make his Paris-Saint Germain debut on Sunday against Reims.
Messi wearing the number 30 jersey, came off the bench in the 66th minute to replace Neymar at the Stade Auguste-Delaune.
Fans chanted his name as he emerged to warm up as everyone waited for this day to come.
The Argentine had not played any game since arriving in Paris from Barcelona.
His last appearance was back in the Copa America final when he led his country to a 1-0 victory against Brazil.
Paris-Saint Germain won 2-0 against Reims with Kylian Mbappe scoring both goals.
