Two weeks after chaos continue being witnessed in the Nyamira County Assembly, a section of the MCAs who are believed to be allied to Governor Amos Nyaribo have come out and asked the Assembly speaker Moffat Teya to resign for failing to show leadership in the assembly.
The MCAs have asked elected Members of Parliament from Nyamira led by Ben Momanyi (Borabu) Joash Nyamoko (North Mugirango) Vincent Kemosi (West Mugirango) and Shadrach Mose (Kitutu Masaba) to stop interfering in county politics but rather concentrate on developing their constituencies.
They added that the events that are being witnessed in the assembly are a culmination of a view people who have an interest in the political agenda and succession of the gubernatorial seat in the 2022 elections
The group which comprises sixteen out of the thirty-six members of the Nyamira County Assembly have vowed to support the development agenda of Governor Amos Nyaribo.
