Roots Party presidential candidate George Wajackoya wants to promote Nyasore primary school in Nyamira into a university if elected in the upcoming election.
Excited by the discovery of the school whose name directly translates to Bhang, he said that it will be the first public institution in Kenya to teach about the plant, whose cultivation is prohibited in Kenya.
Wajackoya who has been campaigning in Nyamira and Kisii for two days was addressing Kisii town residents on Monday.
He further stated that bhang grown in Kisii alone was enough to pay Kenya’s loan after which all foreigners would be told to go back to their homes.
“If I take over the government, I will terminate all those contracts and tell the Chinese to go back to their home. I will use 500 bags of bhang to settle all their debts.” he added.
He said that the Chinese had ruined the economy of most countries they were involved with like Sri Lanka, Mozambique and Zambia
He promised to reduce official working days to four, increase maternity leave for women to one year and, introduce eight prime ministers.
