A storey building has collapsed in Gesima Market, Kitutu Masaba Constituency in Nyamira county.
The incident happened today in the morning and one person has already been rescued and rushed to hospital. The number of people who were in the building has not been established yet.
The police are already on the ground as locals wait for agencies to take quick action so as to rescue those trapped in the collapsed building.
The cause of the incident is yet to be known.
