Ten-man France held to draw by Bosnia in World Cup qualifiers

Antoine Griezmann scored France’s equalizer as they drew with Bosnia-Herzegovina in World Cup qualifiers.

Captain Edin Dzeko gave the Bosnians the lead with an excellent drilled effort outside the box.

France then remained ten men after Sevilla defender Joules Kounde was sent off for a terrible tackle on Arsenal’s Sead Kolasinac.

It was difficult for France to get a win from the Bosnians with fewer men on the pitch.

Nevertheless, the frustrating result still keeps France on top of Group D.

They have eight points from four games, four more than second-placed Ukraine.
